Have a hauntingly good time exploring Old Government House at night!
The Governors and their households left Parramatta in 1855, but their presence still haunts Old Government House...
At night you are invited to come and explore this 212 year old Georgian mansion by candlelight on a Ghost Tour of Old Government House.
Held every 3rd Friday night of the month, you can revisit the scene of a tragic accident and witness places within the house where psychics, guides and visitors have experienced ghostly encounters.
Then, over supper, reflect on your own experiences in this splendid vice-regal residence.
Supper includes - wine, juice, tea, coffee, sandwiches, cakes and slices
Time: 7:15pm arrival for 7.30pm start (finish approx. 10:00pm)

“Ghost Night Tours”, conducted by Friends of Old Government House and Experiment Farm Cottage, operate as a promotional tool to represent historical events and recollections of experiences of previous occupants, staff, volunteers and visitors to Old Government House since its establishment, as recorded in writing or passed by word of mouth. While the tours are entitled “Ghost Tours”, there is no guarantee that you will see, or make any connection or communication with, a ghost or spirit, or experience any other form of paranormal activity, only the possibility that you may have an “encounter” such as earlier visitors to Old Government House have had.
